 Maryland Health Disparities Collaborative
  
Objective: Increase awareness of the significance of health disparities, their impact on the state and local communities, and the actions necessary to improve health outcomes for Maryland’s racial and ethnic minority populations
 
Charge for the Implementation of the Maryland Health Improvement and Disparities Reduction Act of 2012: 
 
  •  Provide recommendations to DHMH on how to promote the Health Enterprise Zone application process to community-based organizations around the state.  
 
  •  Provide recommendations on how to promote the services of Zones within the selected pilot zones.
